Basecage - Fast and Light Mobile Cage
This is the most complete pro-level mobile cage that enables you to shoot all day. We designed BaseCage to be one continuous open rail profile with NATO compatibility on the sides and top, and Arca on the base. So you can keep using your tried-and-true accessories, grips, and tripods. We’ve also included dozens of additional mounting points - (4) x 3/8”-16 thread, (4) x cold-shoe mounts, and (39) x 1/4”-20 threads.
The industrial phone clamp is machined from lightweight aluminum and uses an enhanced spring force to grip your phone beyond a typical phone clamp. Contoured rubber pads add extra grip and protect your phone or case against damage.

It’s great hand-held for run-and-gun filmmaking, in an Arca tripod for fixed shots, or a gimbal to capture silky live-action shots. You can even choose to have the ports facing towards or away from you, maximizing the viewing angle of your screen and allowing flexibility to create the cleanest rig configuration possible.

Accessory Guide
Mobile Shotgun Microphones
Works with USB-C or 3.5mm output.
Thread Mount Accessories
Works with any 1/4”-20 bolt with a spacing of 9mm. Works with 3/8”-16 with Arri anti-twist pin holes.
Nato Mount Accessories
Works with all adjustable NATO clamps (that can be loosened) Side rails have clearance for fixed NATO clamps of 21mm width. Top rail has clearance for fixed clamp width of 26mm.
USB-C Cables
We suggest using cables rated for USB-C 3.2 ports with at least 10Gb/s transfer speeds
SSD
Drives with at least 220 MB/s write. We recommend finding a drive with a rugged enclosure.
ARCA Accessories
Bottom rail is compatible with fixed or adjustable Arca clamp profiles. Please check that your clamp does not have a fixed locking pin, as this may not be compatible.
